COMMUNITY COLLEGE INFORMATION
De Anza College will be accepting applications beginning March 31st, 2008 that can be found at www.deanza.edu/registration/myinfo.html
Placement tests for De Anza and Foothill can be taken at Fremont High on Wednesday, April 21st from 1 to 4PM. **Students MUST apply for admission prior to the test and GIVE Ms. Madruga their COLLEGE ID number.
New Student/Parent orientation will take place at De Anza on Wednesday May 14th, from 6:30-8PM to get more information about De Anza and how to get early registration for the fall.
Mission College will soon be accepting applications, which can be found at
http://www.cccapply.org/Applications/California_Community_College/apply/Mission_College.htmlMission College Placement Tests need to also be taken and can be done so at Mission. See link above for details.
There will be an onsite Mission College Orientation at Fremont High on April 23rd from 2-6 PM and an Orientation at Mission College on April 26th from about 12:30-6PM where you can sign up for your fall classes and earn .5 college credits! Each orientation has different information and students must attend both. Visit the Career Center to pick up a sign up packet.
FOOTHILL DAY ON THE HILL!
Students that want to attend Foothill college next Fall will have the chance to sign up for a mandatory orientation class at the Day on the Hill on April 30th. See Ms. Madruga for a sign up form. Busses will be available if enough people sign up by Spring Break.
For all other commnity colleges, please check with the particular school for details. Placement tests for these schools will not be offered at Fremont High and will need to be taken at their site.
