  1. Computers are to be used for educational purposes only! Computers are not to be used for entertainment purposes.
  2. Loud talking is not allowed in the library. This is an academic environment. Students will be asked to leave the library if they are loud.
  3. Electronic devices (CD players, pagers, cell phones, and other devices) are not allowed in the Library. Students will be asked to leave if they are seen with such a devise, if the student refuses, the electronic devise will be confiscated and turned into the front office or the student will be given a referral to an Assistant Principal.
  4. Eating, drinking, and chewing gum are not permitted in the library.
  5. Students are not allowed to download programs such as Instant Messenger or games, etc. Get permission from a librarian to use media/music for a school purpose.
  6. Students are not allowed to change any computer settings. This includes, but is not limited to, the desktop, color settings, screen saver, and icon arrangements.
  7. Students are not to move any computer, peripheral equipment, or piece/part of any equipment. Contact the Librarian concerning any problem with any of the equipment!
  8. Sit in chairs appropriately.
  9. Only one student per computer.  No more than 2 if working on a group project.
  10. Grooming or applying of cosmetics in the library is not permitted.
  11. Students must clean up after themselves. This includes, but is not limited to, straightening the workstation, pushing in your chair, and throwing away all scraps of paper.

Students violating any of the above rules will be asked to leave the library immediately. Serious or repeated violations will be handled by an Assistant Principal and will result in disciplinary action.
