Fremont Flowers

Thank you to everyone who helped with our Fremont Flower Fund donation drive. The goal of $3000 was achieved and our tulips have been planted in front of our historic main building. An additional 500 daffodils and hyacinths were planted in the flowerbeds around our campus. Mr. Hinton's class helped plant some of the flowerbeds. Thanks, kids! A special thank you to the ASTRAS Service Club for its $1000 donation and to staff member, Su Kladstrup, for her campus recycling program. |

Our next fundraising is in progress and we are collecting donations for the red and white petunias that are so prominent at our graduation. $1000 is needed to grace our school with these beautiful flowers. April is planting time.Fundraising for the flowers is an ongoing project. We have already set up an account for the flowers for next school year. Please consider donating to the fund.

Yamagami's Nursery donated about 3000 assorted spring bulbs. Ron Kannemoto, manager, and Terry Henderson, bulb buyer for the nursery are very impressed with the Fremont flower tradition and this donation adds to the beauty of the flower beds all through the campus.
