Personalized Learning Communities This year the entire school community is involved in exploring and implementing personalized learning communities (PLC) that enhance a student's desire to learn. A PLC is one where a group of students is taught by a team of staff members over time with the goal of meeting the social, emotional, and academic needs of each student. This results from staff agreements about philosophy, teaching and learning practices, and accountability measures. The goal of a PLC is increasing student achievement by knowing students well.
