April 5 was a beautiful evening for the Fremont Junior Prom! A Night to Treasure was the theme selected that fit the Tarragon’s décor. A few students even dressed to the theme that added an extra spark to the evening!
The Class of 2009 Cabinet, Nishit Sitapara, Amy Chwa, Brittany Van Schravendijk and Deanne Campos, began their prom conversation at the beginning of the school year. After Homecoming, planning the prom was their top priority. With a “threat” from Mr. Grover that the prom would be in the big gym if a place wasn’t secured, the cabinet went into overdrive and the Tarragon in Sunnyvale was selected.
The pressure of hosting an event of this magnitude was stressful, the cabinet agreed. They didn’t relax until the guests started telling them that they were having a good time. Success is a great feeling!
