IDC Community

The visiting students commented on the “kinship” between students and teachers. They liked the comfortable conversations and relationships. “Approachable” was the term used to describe the teachers. Many of the 49 visitors appreciated that Fremont students greeted them. They were in awe of the college-look of the campus, the cleanliness and the feeling of family.

The purpose of IDC is to bring all the schools together and to build a sense of community within the district. Students shadow (follow) hosts students during the exchange and are introduced to the school, a positive way to learn a school’s true identity.

The Fremont IDC representatives, Susan Lee and Ashok Krishna, were well-organized and ready to share the real Fremont!
