The City of Sunnyvale is looking for musically inclined individuals who are willing to perform any genre in front of your peers. Performances could be solo or with a band. The City of Sunnyvale is currently putting together an advisory committee for producing a “for teens, by teens” website. From fashion to sports, community service to music reviews, and advice corners to horoscopes, we are looking for individuals who will tell us what you want to see in a teen oriented website! Attention students going to the Winter Ball: PTSA is once again offering corsages and boutonnieres for the low prices of $10 and $5, respectively. Order forms are available in the student store. Why so serious?! The City of Sunnyvale will be showing "Batman, The Dark Knight" on a projector screen Friday December 12th from 7:00pm to 10:30pm at the Fair Oaks Park building in Sunnyvale. Admission is FREE and only for high school teens, so bring your friends to kick back and watch the Joker terrorize Gotham City. The City of Sunnyvale presents the Chuck-N-Duck 2008 Dodgeball tournament.  Each team must consist of 6-10 players and costs $3 per player.  Each player will receive a FREE Chuck-N-Duck headband and the champions will receive Chuck-N-Duck sweaters.  The tournament will be held Saturday, December 13th from 10am-5pm at the Sunnyvale Middle School gym. La Raza Latina are still collecting canned goods and non-perishable food for Sunnyvale Community Services.  It is s not to late to help the needy in our community.  We will be collecting all the food on Friday, December 12th, but if you have a lot of items now, please call 522-2417, and we will go and get them.  Thank you for your generosity, and have a great holiday season!  Raza Latina (Gelvis)

Do you want to earn extra money?  NOVA is back on campus! If you are 16 or over, NOVA can help you find a job, as well as help you in future goals including the GED, community college, vocational training, or the military.  You must meet income eligibility requirements.  See Brenda Reyes up by Jesus’ office.  She will be on our campus every other Wednesday from 11 am. - 3:30 pm.  (D. Applications are being accepted for the UC San Francisco's Biomedical and Health Science Summer Internship. If you are in the class of 2009 and have an interest in science, medicine, and health, you might be eligible. See the Career Center to find out more! (C. Madruga)

The Stanford Medical Youth Science Program is looking for low income under-represented sophomore and junior high school students to take part in their 5 week long summer internship program. Attention all seniors: De Anza College financial aid office is offering a $1,500 scholarship to graduating high school seniors from Santa Clara or San Mateo Counties who plan to attend De Anza College during 2009-2010. (D. Ramirez)
