Paul Duckett (1987) - Split End
Biography Along with Greg Perry’s 1991 season at quarterback, Paul Duckett’s 1986 season at split end ranks as one of the best “ from out of nowhere” performances by a Fremont Indian. With teammate
Brian Theodore in expert form, and an offense that put the ball in the air almost 25 times a game, Duckett set single season receiving marks that will be very difficult to best. Bolstered by a then league record of 12 receptions in one game against Homestead, Duckett hauled in 50 catches, and gained 706 yards. Duckett is the only Fremont wide out to crack 50 balls and more than 700 yards. Post season honors for Duckett included: 1st Team All DAAL receiver, and 2nd Team All-CCS receiver.
