Rick Armer (1975)
Biography The 1974 football team put up some impressive numbers, a 7-1 record, a share of the league championship, and the statistical exploits of running back Rick Armer. An amazing ability to score touchdowns in bunches, and nearly gaining a first down on every carry, Armer’s 1974 campaign was one of the most dominant in school history. The highlight of that season came versus the Sunnyvale Jets, when Armer tallied 6 rushing touchdowns, setting a league mark that would survive for more than 15 years.
